Machine Quilting
Monday January 2, 2012, 1:00 am to 4:00 pm – Learn all of the techniques in Machine Quilting. You will learn how to plan your designs and machine quilt them with ease. Class includes free motion quilting Instructor: Linda Derby. There will be time to practice your new skills with your sewing machines in class. Tuition: $20.00 + kit $5.00
First Saturday Club
January 7, 2012, 10:00 am – 1st Saturday Club is halfway thru the year but we will be offering another one to start in the spring. The first month each member will pay $5.00 for the first quilt block pattern and fabric to make one block. Instructions will be given. New fabrics and products will be presented each month. Each member will return to the club the first Saturday of the next month with their completed quilt block. At the end of that club meeting, each member will receive the next FREE quilt block pattern. The club meets for 12 months. Everyone will have sewn enough blocks for a quilt top! Instructor: Sue Wurzberger
Generals' Wives Block of the Month Club
Sunday January 8, 2012, 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm – Make this incredibly beautiful 100" x 100", Civil War quilt, one block at a time. The Quilt was designed by Jerry Strube and features the Generals' Wives Fabric Collection designed by Nancy Gere for Windham fabrics. Instructor: Linda Derby Tuition: $10.00 per month + kit.
Beginners' Club
Saturday January 14, 2012, 10:00am to 2:00 pm – This is planned for the beginner quilter who would like to broaden their knowledge of quilt making. Each month we will feature one project to highlight a specific technique. Instructor: Jackie Lawton. Tuition: $10.00 per month + kit.

Beginners Class
Sunday January 22, 1:00 am to 4:00 pm #1 of 6 Classes. This is the perfect class for the total beginner and those who need to review their quilting knowledge. Textbook; " 3rd Edition Start Quilting with Alex Anderson". In this 6 week course you will learn everything you need to know to succeed in making a quilt. Four different patchwork blocks will be taught and you will learn to design your quilt in the size you want. Instructor: Linda Derby. Tuition: $60.00 for all six classes. Textbook; $14.95

Make Friends with your Sewing Machine
Saturday February 11, 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. This necessary class will show you the basic maintenance your sewing machine needs to run properly. Brief instructions will be given on some of the features of your sewing machine. Instructor: Jackie Lawton. Tuition: $20.00, Free helpful handouts will be given to each student.
